Account information. When you register we collect your username, email address, password (stored encrypted), and optionally your country. Your profile, forum posts, comments, clan memberships, and match history are part of your community presence and visible to other members per your settings.

Analytics. With your consent (the “Accept All” choice in our cookie banner), we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, time on page, and general region. If you decline, analytics cookies are not set and only anonymous, cookieless pings reach Google. See Google’s privacy policy for how they process this data.

Cookies. Necessary cookies keep you logged in and remember your cookie choices. Optional cookies (analytics) load only if you accept them. You can change your choice anytime by clearing this site’s cookies.

Store purchases. When our shop is active, order details are processed by our payment providers; we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

How We Use Information

To run the community (accounts, forums, clans, matches), keep the site secure, respond to you, improve areas of the site based on aggregate analytics, and fulfill store orders. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers needed to run the site: our hosting provider, Google Analytics (consent-based), payment processors for purchases, and email delivery services for account and site emails. Embedded content (YouTube or Twitch videos, Discord widgets) behaves as if you visited those services directly and is governed by their policies.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing us. Forum posts may be anonymized rather than deleted to preserve conversation continuity.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA under GDPR and California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Email contact@darknovagaming.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

Gamers of all ages are welcome. If you are under 13 (or the equivalent age in your region), please only use DNG with a parent or guardian’s consent. Parents may contact us to review or delete their child’s information.

Security

We use HTTPS across the site, encrypted password storage, login protection, and regular backups. No online service is 100% secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
