20 YEARS OF DARK NOVA

2006

Founded in StarCraft Broodwar as D)N

Dark Nova was born in the StarCraft Broodwar scene, a clan built around custom maps, ranked ladder, team games, and the kind of fun that comes from playing alongside people who care. The “D)N” tag showed others that we were part of a clan. Join us, or go against us.

2008

Leadership passed to Numbaz

The Owner of the clan pulled Numbaz aside. The clan was dissolving, some members drifting to other games, others pulled away by real life, and many doubting Dark Nova could survive outside Broodwar. 2014

Multi-Game Revival

Dark Nova came back — not as a single-game clan. The community expanded into Minecraft, DayZ, and Life is Feudal, running what became the #1-ranked Life is Feudal server worldwide for nearly two years.

2026

Reborn as Dark Nova Gaming, LLC

Two decades after a Broodwar clan tag, Dark Nova returns, this time as Dark Nova Gaming, LLC, with the infrastructure to keep going. Real servers, real community, real plan. The name doesn’t die just because nobody’s logged in.

OUR STORY

In 2006, a group of competitive StarCraft Broodwar players formed a clan. We called ourselves Dark Nova, D)N — and built something rare in the golden age of competitive RTS gaming.

Two decades later, after two collapses and two revivals, Dark Nova Gaming returns in 2026 with real infrastructure and a long-term plan.
